My story
Affe was found together with his siblings when they were very young by a teacher outside a school. Today, Affe lacks self-confidence and is very cautious in everything he does. He is gentle and reserved in the presence of people and still finds it difficult to fully trust his surroundings. Affe is a very fearful and inexperienced boy who feels great insecurity in new environments, around new people, and in everyday situations. He allows himself to be handled, but this comes more from caution than from a sense of safety, and it requires great respect for his boundaries. The family who adopts Affe needs to have extensive experience, plenty of patience, and time to invest in him. Earning his trust is the greatest success and requires calmness, understanding, and consistent reassurance. At his own pace, he wants to explore and discover the world when his courage allows it, and he needs a home that lets him do so without pressure or stress.
