My story
Vera is a friendly female dog with a touching background. Life has not been easy for Vera and her siblings. They were found at a very young age on the street outside a university by a teacher. Vera is a very fearful and inexperienced dog who feels great insecurity in new environments, around new people, and in everyday situations. She accepts handling, but without truly feeling safe, which requires great sensitivity, patience, and respect for her boundaries. Vera needs a very secure, calm, and experienced family who understands her background and does not place expectations on rapid progress. Patience, knowledge, and consistency are crucial for her to dare to relax and begin to trust. When she is met with gentle hands, calm voices, and a steady presence, she can slowly, at her own pace, begin to blossom. Vera is looking for a home where she can build a safe foundation and where her needs always come before expectations.
